• Device Information: FCM token for push notifications, device type, and OS version
• Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, and interactions within the app
• Location Data: City and state for finding nearby salons (we do not track precise real-time location)

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To create and manage your account
• To process and confirm salon appointments
• To send push notifications about booking confirmations, cancellations, and reminders
• To send OTP (One-Time Password) emails for account verification and password reset
• To enable salon owners to manage their salon profiles, services, and appointments
• To provide customer support and respond to inquiries
• To improve our app features and user experience
• To detect and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity
• To comply with legal obligations

Information Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• With Salon Owners: When you book an appointment, the salon owner receives your name, phone number, and profile photo to prepare for your visit
• With Customers: Salon owners' business details (name, address, logo) are visible to customers
• Service Providers: Firebase (Google) for push notifications, Resend for email delivery — these providers are bound by data protection agreements
• Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or government authority
• Business Transfer: In the event of a merger or acquisition, user data may be transferred with prior notice

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by Hostinger with SSL/TLS encryption. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
• Bcrypt password hashing — your password is never stored in plain text
• Laravel Sanctum token-based authentication
• Regular security audits and updates
• Access controls to limit who can view your data

While we strive to protect your information, no method of internet transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Push Notifications

We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) by Google to send push notifications to your device. These notifications include:

• New booking alerts (for salon owners)
• Booking confirmation and cancellation updates (for customers)
• Appointment reminders

You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings. Disabling notifications may affect your experience with time-sensitive booking updates.

Your Rights & Choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: View your profile and data through the app settings
• Update: Edit your personal information anytime from your profile
• Delete: Request account deletion from Settings → Delete Account
• Opt-out: Disable push notifications through device settings
• Data Portability: Request a copy of your data by contacting us

When you delete your account, your personal data is anonymized and retained for a limited period for legal and fraud prevention purposes, after which it is permanently deleted.

Children's Privacy

MR Salonix is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13 years. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at privacy@mrsalonix.com and we will take steps to delete such information.

Third-Party Services

Our app integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
